WHY JOIN?

We’re thrilled you're interested in joining Petunia Mafia. We have something special going on here - from our rides and events, to our offers and community - and we love to share it.

We invite women from a wide range of skill levels and bike preferences to join our club.  If you’d like to know a little more about us before you sign on, read more about Petunia Mafia or check out the kickoff meeting recording at the bottom of this page.

Here’s what you get with your membership:

  • Rides are organized by designated and trained leaders. We try to ride year-round, weather permitting.
  • Ride skill levels are approximately 15% green, 60% blue, 15% black, and 10% in between.
  • Events such as lectures, social gatherings, plus on- and off-bike clinics.
  • The opportunity to access additional cost pro-coached clinics.
  • Cycling trips at road, gravel, and mountain bike destinations.
  • Adventures: exposure to rides, destinations, races, and places that you may not have visited on your own.
  • Sponsors and supporters that offer VIP perks and/or discounts.
  • Community: a network of women accessible through social media and our communication app.

Information follows about registering:

  • Our club is for female riders.
  • Members must be at least 21 years old.
  • Payment of club dues of $150 are required for each calendar year of membership (Jan 1 – Dec 31). Dues support the programs, events, rides and trips we provide our members. Please come early and often to events! There are no refunds nor are fees prorated.
  • To register, complete our registration form including our Liability Waiver and Safety Agreement and pay your dues.
  • Members agree to our Ride Rules and Guidelines.
  • If you have questions about the process, or if for any reason you cannot afford the dues, please send us an email at friend@petuniamafia.com.
  • Want to give us a test ride? Guests may participate in one bike ride with pre-approval from the Petunia Mafia Board. To test ride, email friend@petuniamafia.com to request a test drive and receive, sign and email back our Liability Waiver and Safety Agreement before the ride.
